Born of an ecological concern, the work, involving dancers Victoria Ananyan and Simone Tribuna, as well as the composer and performer Catherine Braslavsky, opens up its subject matter and its reflection in reaction to the tragic events taking place today in Ukraine. The initial desire of the team composed of Russian, Ukrainian, French, Armenian and Italian artists, is to think about repairing our now extended natural environment.
The initial intention of the team, composed of Russian, Ukrainian, French, Armenian and Italian artists, is to think of a repair of our now extended natural environment. It is no longer just a question of thinking of an ecological repair of the world but of envisaging a more political one, a response that is both artistic and human. To accompany the presentation of The Milky Way, a catalogue has been produced that brings together the words of some thirty artists, intellectuals and researchers. They have answered the question « How can art repair the world? This catalogue is distributed during the Venice Biennale.
